A tiger left behind.
A goddess in need of an ally.
Stranded in a time and place he never wished for, Kishan Rajaram must carry out his destiny of assisting the beautiful yet extremely irritable goddess Durga. This daunting task is not made easy by the fact that he must also face the truth about the girl he loves and the brother who stole her away.
When the wily shaman Phet appears and tells Kishan that Kelsey needs him, he jumps at the chance to see her again. In his efforts to save her, Kishan discovers that the curse he thought was over is just beginning. As time unravels around him, Kishan realizes that the fates of all those he holds dear lie in hands.
The goddess’s power hangs in the balance. Kishan has no choice but to sacrifice the unthinkable to fight the dark forces swirling around the woman he’s charged to protect. As he does, he discovers that love and loyalty create their own magic and accepts that he must decide his destiny once and for all.
Tiger’s Dream is the conclusion to the epic Tiger’s Curse fantasy romance series that left you breathless.
"Tiger's Dream (The Tiger Saga #5)" Reviews
How authors must feel when they post up vague release dates:
I really wish people would read the fourth book before posting reviews on the fifth. All this nonsense about 'IT BETTER BE REN' could be completely avoided if readers would simply learn to not jump the gun.
That being said, I'm very intrigued as to what this book could be about. Tiger's Destiny ended on such a fabulous note that I can't imagine why in the world another addition would be needed. BUT!! It is an opportunity (wishful thinking or not) to read more about Ren and Kelsey. Ergo, I am on board and JAZZED to see what the lovely and talented Mrs. Houck graces us (the loyal fans, both diehard Ren and diehard Kishan. REN ALL THE WAY!!!) with next!!! <3
Also, I am pre-rating this book because whether or not it winds up being FABUL-O-TASTIC (no doubt it will!!!), I am such a huge fan of these books it does not matter that I have not read it. It does not matter that it is not released yet. The entire story, and it's premise, is so dear to my heart that I don't need to read it to know I will love it.
Remember in the second book when Kishan and Kelsey sleep in the Grove of Dreams, and Kishan has the vision of himself seeing Kelsey and the baby?
(That means Kishan does meet them again.)
Then later, in the fourth book, in the epilogue, Kelsey and Ren read the letter from Kishan, and towards the end of the letter he writes, 'I have glimpsed what is to come. Forgive my interference, but it was something I needed to do' then he writes, 'Perhaps in another time and another place we will meet again.'
I think in this book, Kishan will come back and meet up with Ren and Kelsey again(maybe they will even see Mr.Kadam again, because the Phoenix told Kelsey that they would see him again.)
I have some ideas why he might have to see them again:
1. They have to do something else that deals with the Tiger's Curse
2. Durga needs them to help her with something (another battle maybe?)
3. Kishan finds out something is going to happen in the future, so he comes back to help Kelsey and Ren
Those were just a few ideas of what I think might happen.
I'm almost too excited to read Tiger's Dream!!!! I'm just afraid that with Tiger's Destiny having such a semi-Happy Ending that this one might not, T~T I hope it ends well I LOVE a HEA ;)
If not, than I'm gonna consider this (book 4) the ending of the series :)
(Kinda like for people who didn't want to continue the Mortal Instruments books after the 3rd one, you could feasibly end it there and be perfectly happy. I couldn't, but others could lol)
Edit:After reading Tiger's Destiny, I think/hope that the 5th book could be, a kind of collection of different stories told from different characters POV's. Like Kelsey tells a story about a specific event that takes place in the future, then we read one from Ren's point of view, then Kishan's, then Anamika's, etc. It could be like reading a little slice of how their lives continue post curse. I think that would be a great conclusion to this series, kind of like an extended epilogue.
It better be ren. sometimes an author wants to surprise the reader so they give them something they don't expect and then the reader gets surprised but they also get disappointed and they finish the book with a bad feeling and it would have been an awesome book but it had a horrible ending. so advice to the author: it's ok if the reader expected the ending just as long as they end off with a good feeling and are happy. A good romance makes me happy. I will NOT be happy if kelsy ends up with kishan but kishan shouldn't have a bad ending let him fall in love with someone else and everyone will be happy
Dang it! she better pick Ren get married and have little tiger babies. LOL!
