Eleven. For three long years that’s what she was called by The Collector, the sexual sadist who enslaved her.
Mia Deleon fought the odds and escaped only to discover that no one would believe her about the ordeal she’d endured. Not the police. Not her family or friends. Even the investigators she hired couldn’t find a trace of the sexual predator. So with help she disappeared, always looking over her shoulder, living in the shadows. Knowing she’d never be safe while he was still free.
Security expert Jude Bishop had helped her vanish. Now he’s been hired to bring Mia back. A criminal profiler may have discovered a tenuous link to her case. But Jude is nearly too late because The Collector has already found Mia, too. And their race to trail the sexual sadist turned killer brings Mia ever closer to the man obsessed with her.
Because she became his prized possession the moment she’d evaded him. And he’ll stop at nothing to see his collection finally complete…

WOW!!! WOW!!! WOOWWW!!!!
Now this is a really momeorable, fantastic book!!!
The incredible way Ms. Brant tells a truly terrifying story is just amazing!
The main characters, Mia and Jude are plain fantastic!
The story is like watching a cross between CSI and Criminal Minds with all the terror and incredulity a thought about such monster exising brings on.
Every their action, reaction, thought is so real-life and so true that's really amazing!
There's only one tiny, teeny problem: the monster's reasoning and what made him the way he is was downplayed.
But it didn't detract from my nail-biting enjoyment!
A truly great book highly recommended for all the fans of romantic suspense!

They call him The Collector. He’s been abducting women for years .. and only one has escaped. He called her Eleven.
After several years of being held captive, beaten, raped, tortured, she found a way to escape. Unfortunately, there is no evidence to support her story. Not the shaved head with the # 11 tattooed on it.. not the scars. Even her family won’t believe her.
Fast forward 3 years .. Mia has been on the move in places like Vietnam under an assumed identity. Only one man knows where she is. Jude is a security expert that she turned to after she escaped. And when she spots him in Vietnam, her spidey senses are in full force.
A body has been found … a young woman with a shaved head and the number 8 tattooed on her head.
Thus begins the hunt for The Collector.
Every thread they pick at unravels leaving more threads. Mia never saw his face, so it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack. They seem to be making headway … until The Collector rears his ugly head and captures Mia again.
The writing is absolutely mesmerizing. The Collector is one of the most heinous sexual sadists I have seen outside of Criminal Minds. There is great character development, especially the relationship between Mia and Jude. They are both broken … her scars are inside, his are outside. But together, they’re a terrific team.
This one was hard to put down from the very first page. And the suspense is palpable until the very last page. Kylie Brant also has written the Mindhunter series … which is also superb.

I'm a fan of Kylie Brant's Mindhunter series, but 11 qualifies her in my mind among the top thriller writers of this generation. Gutsy, fearless and incredibly smart writing, Ms. Brant takes the reader from DaNang Vietnam back to the US all while Mia Deleon aka 11 tries to outrun a madman desperate to return her to his collection. Mia is about as tortured a heroine as I've ever read and Jude Bishop the perfect match for her. Ms. Brant's knowledge of technology, law enforcement, the human psyche had me flipping pages to see what would happen next. 11 is why thriller readers read. Kylie Brant weaves the mystery, suspense, heartache like the seasoned pro she is. Full of surprises, I was on the edge of my seat, and I absolutely adored the believable relationship she created between Mia and Jude. Pinky swear.

A well written at times intense read
I really enjoyed this book. This is the first time I've read anything from this author and it definitely won't be my last. This was a really well written book that had its intense moments with a touch of romance. Exactly what I like in my books. It could use some work in the grammar and spelling department, but that has never really bothered me, nor does it detract from the book. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody who likes a good intense read with a just a touch of romance. It's not a who dunnit tho as you find out part way through, so don't think it's a mystery in that way.

11 is a winner
Kylie Brant has constructed as evil an antagonist that I've read. The underlying fear as a reader couldn't come close to that of his victims, but that's what made it so powerful. Mia is a complex, damaged heroine and Jude the damaged hero who find one another in this complicated yet simply evil scheme. A psychological thriller that will keep you turning pages.
